A unified service?based capability exposure framework for closed?loop network automation

The ongoing quest for the tight integration of network operation and service provisioning initiated with introduction 5G often clashes capacity current architectures to provide means such integration. Owing traditional design mobile networks, which barely required a interaction, elements offer capabilities their continuous optimization just within domain (eg, access, or core), allowing “silo-style” automation that falls short when aiming at closed-loop embraces all actors involved in network, from functions up service-provider functions. To this end, article, we make case network-wide capability exposure framework by (i) defining different entities shall expose capabilities, (ii) discussing why state art solutions are not enough support vision. Our proposed architecture, relies on registration discovery, functions, allows enhanced use cases currently possible solution. We prove feasibility our solution implementing it real-world testbed, employing Artificial Intelligence algorithms close loop management radio access network.
